The Height of the German Empire
The Germans owned a variety of lands. These lands include islands in the Pacific, legation cities on the coast of China, and large parts of Africa. When World War One began in 1914, the German Empire would be considered as the strongest nation through land, and second strongest in the navy. At their peak, they owned 208 million miles of land.
